Alpha Combs 
Alpha was born in April 1905 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 Alpha's father is George Washington Combs and her mother is Kathleen Combs. Her paternal grandfather is Matthew Combs and her paternal grandmother was Ann Ritchie. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Ernest, Hugo, Veron, Elsie, Bertha, Laura B., Lassie and Unknown. She died at the age of 41 on March 17th, 1947 in Milan, Indiana.1 General Notes
