Joseph Chastain 
Joseph was born in 1771 in BUCKINGHAM CO, VA.1 Joseph's father was Rene Chastain and his mother was Martha Guerrant. His paternal grandparents were Pierre Chastain and Mildred Archer. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Isham, Lewis, William, John, Jacob, Rhoda, Elizabeth, Mildred, Judith and Martha. He died at the age of 36 in 1807.1 -
