Thomas Monroe Chapman 
Thomas Monroe was born on December 7th, 1837.1 Thomas Monroe's father was Kimbrough Ogilvie Chapman and his mother was Sophrona 'Sophia' Davidson. His maternal grandparents were Thomas B. Davidson and Sara Leeper Miller. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James William, Napolean Jasper, Carroll Swanson, Sarah Tennessee, Malinda Eleanor and Nancy Owen. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 27 on May 21st, 1865.1 General Notes
