Jaunita Burton

Jaunita was born on September 16th, 1915.¹ Jaunita's father was Isaac Green Burton and her mother is Joe Annie Giles. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Milton Giles and Margaret Clementine McCowen. She had nine brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Milton, Roy, Willie, Rosco, Leonard, Wallace Gates, Bishop, Paul, Robert, Gussie, Lula Eldora and Glady. She is the fourth youngest of the thirteen children.
