Living's father was Larry Montgomery Burd and his mother was Mattie Mae Underwood. His paternal grandparents were Jessie Burd and Viola Warren; his maternal grandparents were Willis H. Underwood and Florence Ermine Gravatt. He has two brothers and three sisters, named Living, Living, Living, Living and Living.-
