Lydia Adeline was born in January 1874 in Coryell, Co., Texas.1 Lydia Adeline's father was Peter Willis Blackwell and her mother was Jane Adeline Dorman. Her paternal grandparents were Joel Blackwell and Sarah Ememline Graham. She had two brothers and a sister, named William Lawrence, Edwin Willis and Jennie Adeline.
