Augustus Allen Bethune 
Augustus Allen was born on October 17th, 1873.1 Augustus Allen's father was William James Bethune and his mother was Amanda Allen. His paternal grandparents were Lauchlin Bethune and Ann Patterson. He had six brothers named William Mack, Lauchlin Alexander, Franklin Judson, Walter Cleveland, Claude Hunter and Johnnie Felton. He was the oldest of the seven children.
