William Basham 
William was born in 1858 in Boone Co., Virginia.1 William's father was Pleasant Basham and his mother was Elizabeth Asbury. His paternal grandparents were William Loyd Basham and Ama Meador; his maternal grandparents are William Asbury and UNKNOWN Naomi. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Sylvester, Amanda and Elizabeth Letha. He died after 1880.1 General Notes
