Palestine Basham 
Palestine was born about 1878 in Kentucky.1 Palestine's father was Mark A. Basham and her mother was Laura M Mustain. Her paternal grandparents were Benajah Anderson Basham and Nancy E. Turner. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Barbara Anna, Milford Hughie, Ewing, Ollie Erman and Bertha. She was the oldest of the six children. She died after 1880.1 General Notes
