Mary S. Basham 
Mary S. was born about 1826 in Virginia.1 Mary S.'s father was Elijah Basham and her mother was Nancy Turner. Her paternal grandparents were John, Sr. Basham and Francis Susanna Unknown; her maternal grandparents are John Turner and Unknown Wife. She had six brothers named William W., Pleasant, Joseph A., Daniel W., Thomas and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died after 1862.1 General Notes
