Mary A. was born on August 29th, 1859 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Mary A.'s father was Jeremiah (Felix) Basham and her mother was Sophia S. Bramblette. Her paternal grandparents were Frederick Basham and Abigail NORTON. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Walker, Gideon S., Florence E., Frances Alagel, Laura J., Susan Alverdia and Letetia A.. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 1 on February 17th, 1861 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
