Hobart White Basham 
Hobart White was born on March 7th, 1897 in Stephensport, Breckenridge Co., Ky.1 Hobart White's father was Thomas Joseph Basham and his mother was Bettie Lee Hawkins. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Allen Basham and Sarah Frances Dowell. He had a brother and three sisters, named Lonnie Thomas, Anna D., Alma and Mae D.. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 50 on July 28th, 1947 in Greenfield, Macoupin Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
