Fairy Elizabeth was born about 1917 in Hamlin, Fisher Co., Texas.1 Fairy Elizabeth's father was Lindsey William (Shorty) Basham and her mother was Fanny Belle Warren. Her paternal grandparents were Henry William Basham and Elizabeth Nancy Greer. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Lottie Ethel, Willis William, Veda Mae, Nettie Emma, Maggie Fay and Mary Beatrice. She is the third youngest of the seven children.General Notes
