Edward Dellie was born on April 22nd, 1863 in Polk Co., Texas.1 Edward Dellie's father was Harry Reed (Harvey) Basham and his mother was Mary Ann Johnson. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Elizabeth Hogan. He had a brother named Prince E.. He had six half-brothers named Richard D., Henry M., Abe, Mary, Frank and Ira.
