Columbus C. Basham 
Columbus C. was born on December 18th, 1840 in Mountainburg, Crawford Co., Arkansas.1 Columbus C.'s father was Solomon Basham and his mother was Elizabeth Coffey Marler. His paternal grandparents are Richard Basham and Unknown Wife. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named Coffey Jones, John Marion, James Franklin, Solomon II, William Riley, Jasper Newton, Thomas Jefferson, Sr., Henry William, Cynthia, Infant Daughter 1, Susan, Infant Daughter 2, America (Mary) and Infant Daughter 3. He was the sixth youngest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 89 on May 30th, 1930 in Eastland Co., Texas.1 General Notes
