Alsie M. Basham 
Alsie M. was born about 1853 in Clifton Mill, Breckenridge Co., Ky.1 Alsie M.'s father was William Francis Basham and her mother was Elizabeth West. Her paternal grandparents were Allen Dowell Basham and Malinda DALTON. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Hayden Anderson, Thomas J., James 'Clinton', Malinda Jane, Infant Female, Cornelia Ann and W. B. (Female). She was the oldest of the eight children.
