Lydia Barrett

Lydia was born in 1843.¹ Lydia's father is David Barrett and her mother was Lydia Ann DeSpain. Her maternal grandparents were Hiram DeSpain and Nancy Ann Underwood. She has eight brothers and five sisters, named Washington, William Benton, James M., John, Hiram Lafayette, Jefferson Calvin, David, Green, Melsina, Caroline, Nancy Jane, Sarah and Ann. She is the oldest of the fourteen children.
