William Edward Allen 
William Edward was born on January 21st, 1857 in Vermilion Co., Illinois.1 William Edward's father is William Harrison Allen and his mother was Barbara Snider. His maternal grandparents were Asa Barton Snider and Ann Uley. He had a brother and four sisters, named James Asa, Maria Jane, Mary Elizabeth, Susan Eva and Isabelle Rogers. He was the third oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named Guy C.. He died at the age of 79 on March 16th, 1936. He was buried in Potomac Cemetery, Potomac, Vermilion Co., Illinois.1 1 General Notes
