Mary Ann Elizabeth Allen 
Mary Ann Elizabeth was born in 1850 in Georgia.1 Mary Ann Elizabeth's father was John Birchfield Allen and her mother was Susan Ann Shaver. Her paternal grandparents were John Calhoun Allen and Mary Ann Holcombe. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Willican Cornish, John Calhoun, Sarah Jane, Martha Caroline, Cassandra Ann Cassie, Susan Lucinda Adaline and Fannie Idella. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 83 on November 18th, 1933 in Lufkin, Angelina Co.. She was buried in Allen Town, Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
