Living's father was Billie Joe Allen and his mother was Anna Mae Allen. His paternal grandparents were Chris Uriah Allen and Elizabeth Ann Underwood; his maternal grandfather is Emmett M. Allen and his maternal grandmother was Lona Bell Pierce. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Earl Hanley, Living, Living, Living, Living and Living.-
