Leander A. was born on October 14th, 1900.1 Leander A.'s father was Elijah B. Allen and his mother was Mary Jane Underwood. His maternal grandfather was George W. Underwood and his maternal grandmother is Julia A. Hazlewood. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Orville, William Curtis, Roxie Ermine, Lucinda, Nellie Mae and Cassie Truman. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 79 on October 27th, 1979.1 General Notes
