Viola was born about 1874 in Wyoming Co., West Virginia.1 Viola's father is Eli J. Morgan and her mother is Martha Jane Perry. Her paternal grandparents were David Morgan and Nancy Lusk. She had a brother and three sisters, named Walter Freeling, Roxie Delaney, Octavia and Goldie. She is the second oldest of the five children.-
