James Marion was born on June 15th, 1902 in Roswell, Chaves Co., New Mexico.1 James Marion's father was Fred H. Miller and his mother was Mintie Blanche Miller. His maternal grandparents were William Marion Miller and Mary Jane Carper. He had a brother and three sisters, named Edgar Sherman, Mary Gladys, Ruth Lenora and Sarah Agnes. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 84 on January 13th, 1987 in Camarillo, Ventura Co., California.
