John Locke 
John was born on November 24th, 1778.1 John's father was John Locke and his mother was Esther French. His maternal grandfather was JOHN C. FRENCH and his maternal grandmother is MARTHA FLINT. He had two brothers named William French and James. He died at the age of 77 on August 20th, 1856. He was buried in Lock Graveyard, old Locke farm.1 1 
John and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on November 23rd, 1807 in Frederick Co., Virginia.2 They had three sons and three daughters, named William S., John, George, Jane, Frances G. and Martha Eleanor.
