Isabella was born about 1856 in Wyoming Co., Virginia.1 Isabella's father is Pleasant Lester and her mother is Lucinda Miller. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph H. Lester and Dicey Bailey. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Perry Bailey, Felix, Juliet, Dorcas, Martha and Mary. She is the youngest of the seven children.-
