Flora Jeansonne

Flora was born on October 27th, 1877 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.¹ Flora's father was Otride Jeansonne and her mother was Marie Blanche Couvillon. Her paternal grandparents were Elphege Jeansonne and Rosalie Guillory; her maternal grandparents were Gregoire Horatio Couvillon and Laurette Scallen. She had a brother and five sisters, named Joseph Jefferson Hepbon, Lauretta Edvise, Lillian Marie, Lilly Louise, Marie Philomene and Laura Ita. She is the third oldest of the seven children.
