John Jamison 
John was born on September 3rd, 1758 in Georgia or Snow Creek, Franklin Co., Virginia.1 John's father was Thomas Jamison and his mother was Jane Dickey. His paternal grandparents were JOHN Jameson and JANET KEEN. He had four brothers and a sister, named Samuel, Robert, William, Joseph S. and Martha. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and nine half-sisters, named Thomas, Alexander, Mary, Jane, Nancy, Katherine, Helen, Margaret, Hannah, Rhoda and Eleanor. He died at the age of 84 on September 11th, 1842 in Kentucky.1 General Notes
