Ballard Jackson was born on August 16th, 1863 in Mercer Co., Virginia.1 Ballard Jackson's father was Andrew Greenville Hager and his mother was Nancy Wimmer. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Allen Hager and Elizabeth Bailey. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Henderson Bailey, Samuel Harrison, William Russell, Esther Jane and Mary Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 86 on October 14th, 1949 in Mercer Co., West Virginia.1 -
