Etienne Gerard 
Etienne was born in 1810.1 Etienne's father was Rene Gerard and his mother was Agathe Angelique Louassil. He was an only child. He died at the age of 49 on March 22nd, 1859 in New Orleans, Louisiana.1 
Etienne and Eugenie were married in a religious ceremony on May 9th, 1836.1 They had three sons and a daughter, named Stephen, Jules, Eugene and Marie Eugenie.

Stephen was born in 1837 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1 He died at the age of 25 on April 6th, 1862 in Battle of Shiloh, Mississppi.1
