Valery Dufour 
Valery was born on December 28th, 1785 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1 Valery's father was Charles DuFour and his mother was Adrienne Deshotels. His paternal grandparents were Jean DuFour dit Brindamour and Marie Phillippe DeCoux; his maternal grandparents were Jacques desAutels and Anne Stephan Roquancourt. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Isadore, Heloise, Edvige, Eugenie and Marcelline. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died before 1839 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.1 -
