Donna Celeste was born about 1777 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1 Donna Celeste's father was LOUIS Amable Quevillon and her mother was MARIANNE Pourciau. Her paternal grandparents were JEAN Baptiste Quevillon and MARIE Anne Cadieux; her maternal grandparents were Jean Baptiste Pourciau and Marie Therese Chalin. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Adrien, PIERRE, Amable Petit, Marie Veronique, Gertrude, Marie Barbe and Elizabeth. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died in 1847 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. She was buried in St Pauls Cem, Hydropolis, Louisiana, USA.1 1 General Notes
