Martha Cooke 
Martha was born about 1833 in Logan County, (West) Virginia.1 Martha's father was William Doby Cooke and her mother was Chloe Bailey. Her maternal grandparents were James Bailey and Margaret Stinson. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James Bailey, Lewis Alderson, Lain Samuel, David Judson, Juliet, Sarah C. and Cynthia J.. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died in August 1888 in Wyoming County, West Virginia.1 -
