Manette Boisdore 
Manette was born in 1775 in Opelousas, Louisiana.1 Manette's father was Jean Antoine Boisdore and her mother was Francoise Veillon. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Barbeau Boisdore and Marie Louise Brette; her maternal grandparents were Jean Veillon and Marie Francoise Aubert. She had two brothers and ten sisters, named Joseph, Charles, Euphrosine, Celeste, Felicite Magdeleine, Eugenie, Marie Eulalie, Francoise, Henriette, Louise, Genevieve and Hyacinthe.1 -
