John Bell 
John was born about 1722 in Virginia.1 John's father was JOHN Bell and his mother was HANNAH STOKES. His paternal grandparents were JOHN Bell and ANN BENNETT. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin, Burrell, Balaam, James, Hannah, MARY Kesiah, Ann and Mary. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died on May 25th, 1748 in Southampton Co., Virginia.1 General Notes

This land was patented by his father, John Bell, Jr., and was in Albemarle Parish.
