Ann was born in March 1886 in Wyoming Co., West Virginia.1 Ann's father was Isaac Maurice Bailey and her mother was Nancy Gunnoe. Her paternal grandparents are Thomas C. Bailey and Dorcus Brooks. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Lorenzo, Martin E., Terry R., Mary and Evie Lee. She is the second oldest of the six children.-
