Fred SPENCER
Funeral services for Fred SPENCER, 63, of 1525 Sixth St. a Portsmouth businessman, are to be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Church.
SPENCER, co-owner of the Spencer Produce Co., 1920 11th St., died at 4 p.m. Saturday a few minutes after he was brought to Mercy Hospital. Death has been attributed to a heart attack.
He was a native of Portsmouth and a member of St. Mary's Church, the Knights of Columbus, and United Commercial Travelers.
Survivng are his wife, Mrs. Frances SCHILLINGER SPENCER; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Ann SPENCER COX of Wellston; two brothers, Arthur SPENCER, of Cincinnati and Harry SPENCER of Ironton; four sisters, Mrs. Imogene CLAWSON, 1133 Ninth St., Mrs. Harriet CARROLL of Chicago, Mrs. Margaret GEEHRING of Columbus and Mrs. Doris WOBDDELL of Urbana, and three granchildren.
Interment is to be in Greenlawn Cemetery under direction of Mlecher Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Recitation of the rosary is to be at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
