John Yount 
John was born on September 23rd, 1768. John's father was George Yount and his mother was Rosannah Waymire. His paternal grandfather was Andrew Yount; his maternal grandparents were John Rudolph Waymire and Voltine Lough. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Frederick, George, Rachel, Rebecca, Mary (Polly), Amelia and Rosannah May. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 54 on December 1st, 1822 in OH.General Notes

Rebecca was born on November 3rd, 1801 in KY on route north to OH. She died at the age of 94 on September 13th, 1896 in West Branch, Cedar Co., Iowa.
