Joseph WITT 
Joseph was born in 1777 in , Jefferson, TN. Joseph's father was Joseph Nathaniel WITT and his mother was Sarah KIMBROUGH. His paternal grandparents were Charles "C" WITT and Lavinia HARBOUR; his maternal grandfather is John KIMBROUGH. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Nathaniel, John, Silas, James R, Mourning, Elizabeth 'Betsy', Rebecca, Sarah (Sallie) and Mary Martha. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 43 on March 7th, 1820 in , Adair Co, Ky.General Notes
