Christopher C. Via 
Christopher C. was born on March 7th, 1874 in Springfield, Illinois. Christopher C.'s father was Horace Walker "Bee" Via and his mother was Samantha Carrier. His paternal grandparents were IRA HOWARD Via and AMANDA JANE Shiflett. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Richard J., Archy "Archie", Grover Cleveland, Louise Apollonia, Sacramental, Annie and Hattie Lee. He was the oldest of the eight children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Samuel, William Moses, Horace Monroe, Charles A., Arthur, Mary Agnes and Molly. He died at the age of 35 on May 10th, 1909 in Macon, Missouri. He was buried in Friendship Cemetery, Macon, IMissouri.-
