John VICKERS 
John was born on August 8th, 1780 in <, , Pennsylvania>. John's father was Thomas VICKERS and his mother was Jemima MENDENHALL. His paternal grandfather is Thomas VICKERS and his paternal grandmother was Rebecca DILLON; his maternal grandparents were Joshua MENDENHALL and Lydia MENDENHALL. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Joshua, Ziba, Thomas, Isaac, Jesse, Martha and Rebecca. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 79 on April 24th, 1860.General Notes
