Matthias Turner 
Matthias was born about 1772 in Pendleton District,, SC. Matthias' father was Benjamin Turner and his mother is Elizabeth (Molly) Knox. He had two brothers and a sister, named Elias, John and Female. He was the youngest of the four children. He died before 1850 in DeKalb Co., Ga..General Notes

2003 in source program. I have found one deed for Matthias in DeKalb
Co., GA. This deed was not in the index, but I found it by reading
every entry. 'Mathias Turner DeKalb doc. 2 Jan 1837 rec 3 Jun 1844
Deed Bk H p 320 film 45759 pt 9 - Mathias Turner to Seany Robbins of
DeKalb for $4001/2 of lot #46 in 14th Dist. of DeKalb formerly
Fayette. 100 acres.' signed Matthias Turner"
His wife Keziah was a widow by 1850. She was living with heryoungest
son, Case, in DeKalb Co., GA. I do not have a definite 1840 census on
him. I have failed to find him in all of Georgia for 1840. There was a
Metthias in Tuscaloosa Alabama for 1840. I have not checked that.
(There are several census records of Pendelton Dist. S. C. and some
land records. One is witnessed by Benjamin X Turner, David Grant and
Robert Wood, J.P. 2 Jan 1837 and rec 3 June 1844.
‌Matthias and Keziah were married in a religious ceremony about 1790 in Pendleton, SC Anderson. They had nine sons and three daughters, named Elijah, Elisha, Thomas, John Bennett, Obediah, William, Williamson, Benjamin, Case, Miss, Mary A.M. and Charity.
