Keziah and Matthias were married in a religious ceremony about 1790 in Pendleton, SC Anderson. They had nine sons and three daughters, named Elijah, Elisha, Thomas, John Bennett, Obediah, William, Williamson, Benjamin, Case, Miss, Mary A.M. and Charity.
