Jedediah was born on May 13th, 1857 in Kaysville, Davis, Utah, USA and his baptism took place there in September 1859. Jedediah's father was Allen Taylor and his mother was Sarah Lovisa Allred. His maternal grandparents were Isaac ALLRED and Mary Calvert. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Issac Moroni, William Riley, Joseph Allen, Independence, Mary Elizabeth, Sarah Jane, Nancy Melvina, Clarissa Elvira, Orissa Angelia and Lovissa Jennette.
