Sidney Ann was born in 1856 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia. Sidney Ann's father was Elkana Slater and her mother is Elizabeth Fisher. Her maternal grandfather was George Fisher and her maternal grandmother is Frances A. Lanham. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named George Wilson, William Prior, John Albert, Elkana Norris, Noah S., Andrew Jackson, Henry Minor, Mary and Marsena. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 80 in 1936 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia.-
