William Shipp

William was born on October 20th, 1637 in Elizabeth River, Lower Norfolk, VA. William's father was William SHIPP and his mother was Sarah Julian Kempe. His paternal grandparents are William SHIPP and Margaret BALLS; his maternal grandfather is George Kempe and his maternal grandmother was Mary Corbett. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Francis, Matthew, Ann, Mary, Ann and Anne. He is the oldest of the eight children.
