Matthew Shipp 
Matthew was born in 1641 in Elizabeth River, Lower Norfolk, VA. Matthew's father was William SHIPP and his mother was Sarah Julian Kempe. His paternal grandparents are William SHIPP and Margaret BALLS; his maternal grandfather is George Kempe and his maternal grandmother was Mary Corbett. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, William, Francis, Ann, Mary, Ann and Anne. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died after May 27th, 1673 in Accomack, Virginia. He was buried after 1688 in , Accomack, Virginia.General Notes
