Sir John of Elliotstown (~1392), the son of Thomas, received more landsfrom King Robert II. The charter gave to him the lands of Glassford inLanarkshire. It was signed by John, Earl of Carrick, His Majesty's eldestson on July 22, 1375. An annual pension of 20? pounds from the customs ofEdinburgh was settled on him and his heirs. He had 3 children: Jean, whomarried Sir John Stewart, Sherrif of Bute (He was an ancestor of theMarquess of Bute), John of Elliestoun, and John of Fulwood
