Nathaniel SLOCOMBE 
Nathaniel was born on December 25th, 1652 in Portsmouth, Newport Co., Ri. Nathaniel's father was Giles SLOCUM and his mother was Joanne (Joan) COOK. His paternal grandparents were Philip SLOCOMB and Charity BICKHAM; his maternal grandparents were Christopher Jr. COOK and Elizabeth COOK. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named John, Giles, Ebenezer, John, Peleg, Samuel, Eliezer, Johanna and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 49 on August 31st, 1702 in Shrewsbury, , New Jersey.General Notes
