Her paternal grandparents were Jessee SHELTON and Nancy MONTGOMERY; her maternal grandparents are Charles FERRELL and Louisa FERRELL. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Jessee Jackson, Charles, James, Nancy Catherine, Mary Elizabeth, Eldora Eoff and Marnie (Mammie?). She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 86 on July 29th, 1958 in , Temple, Bell, Texas. She was buried in Little Flock Cem, Temple, Bell, Texas.General Notes
