Benjamin Gideon SHELDON 
Benjamin Gideon was born on March 4th, 1727 in South Kingstown, Town S Kingstown, Washington Cnty, Rhode Island. Benjamin Gideon's father was Isaac SHELDON and his mother was Susannah POTTER. His paternal grandparents were John SHELDON and Deliverance PALMER; his maternal grandparents were Thomas POTTER and Susannah Anthony TRIPP. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Roger, Isaac, John, Joseph, Palmer Potter Potter, Valmer, Gideon, Elizabeth, Susannah and Sarah. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 69 on July 2nd, 1796 in Stephentown, Town Stephentown, Rensselaer Cnty, New York. He was buried in July 1796 in Sheldon Farm Cem, Stephentown, Rensselaer, New York.General Notes
